Spanish Language Outreach in MT Libraries

WELCOME! According to a 2007 ALA report, "some 78% of libraries nationwide develop programs and services in Spanish, the number one non-English language used in public libraries these days." The MTSLO blog gives Montana librarians a place to share ideas and develop successful outreach activities for Spanish-speakers in their local communities.

Fiesta Latina

Here you see members of the North Valley public Library Spanish Conversation Group who did most of the decorating, cooking and organizing of what turned out to be the most attended event in the 100 year history of the Library with over 160 people.
